Topic:
Immediate Implantation and Loading Within the New Concept of Biointegration
Abstract: This lecture presents the concept of mucogingival integration in dental implantation, emphasizing the biological and clinical significance of peri-implant soft tissues and the peri-implant soft tissue barrier (PSTB). It explores key criteria for successful implant therapy, including tissue width, height, and stability, alongside the influence of implant design and superstructure on soft tissue outcomes. The session covers modern protocols such as single-stage implantation, digital navigation, and the use of custom healing abutments to achieve optimal emergence profiles. Practical guidance is provided through clinical cases, literature data, and contemporary techniques including soft tissue augmentation and 3D bioprinting. Complications in PSTB formation and strategies for their prevention and management are also discussed.

Topic: Full-Arch Rehabilitation: Advanced Concepts & Clinical Solutions in Modern Implantology
Abstract: Dr. Bálint Tapasztó presents an anatomy-driven full-arch surgical concept for the rehabilitation of severe maxillary atrophy without the use of zygomatic implants. This lecture focuses on maximizing available native bone and optimizing implant distribution to support immediate loading protocols. Advanced techniques including the palatal approach, trans-sinus implants, and pterygoid implants will be presented alongside a fully digital workflow enabling the predictable delivery of fixed restorations on the day of surgery. Through selected clinical cases, the lecture will demonstrate how these techniques can be combined to successfully manage even the most complex full-arch rehabilitations. Discover advanced concepts and latest innovations in full-arch surgery with @doctor_balint!

Topic: Morphological and Functional Changes in Periodontal Tissues Following Surgical Intervention
Abstract: Surgical intervention in periodontology aims to restore function and also to promote optimal healing and long-term stability of periodontal tissues. Following periodontal and peri-implant surgical procedures, biological remodelling processes occur within both hard and soft tissues, resulting in morphological and functional alterations that directly influence clinical outcomes, aesthetics, and tissue integration.

Topic: Non-Recession
Philosophy (NRP)
Rigid Fixation in
Guided Bone
Regeneration (GBR)
Abstract: GBR is one of the frequently required materials for dental implant therapy, and nowadays, there are many suggested procedures to achieve this. In this lecture, we will focus on the rigid fixation procedure to ensure no bone recession after augmentation.

Topic: AI in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Abstract: In Medicine and Dentistry, liability issues arise. And maybe in diagnostics (differential), the Occam’s razor might give the simplest answer. Though the point of what is fair / ethical is still under research. The Philoctetes by Sophocles, is a characteristic play that promotes a great paradigm- project, especially to audiences of medical professionals and students. The concept of doctor- patient relationship of having a moral high ground is a key aspect. What does morality mean to each one of us? What is right for the individual versus what is right for the group? This struggle might be irreconcilable. So, how do we train the medical - dental students? Between the AI trained robot which independently performs a surgical operation and a surgeon who uses a robot which shows him the safety limits, I choose the second case. A short historical review regarding the idea of AI will be introduced and my personal experience upon all the surgical fields in OMS assisted by AI from 1992 till 2017 in USA and China.
